It gives the time but also the complete calendar, not to mention its ingenious jumping date, finished with a refined red Jaeger-LeCoultre anchor. As its name suggests, this complication allows the date indicator to literally jump between the 15th and the 16th day of the month, ceding place for the moon phase. In an aperture at 6 o’clock, the star of the night is revealed or hidden against a background of the starry midnight blue sky.
