INNOVATION IS TRADITION
At Blancpain, the expression “Innovation is our tradition” is a fundamental guiding principle. In house design means constant innovation and complete control over the manufacturing process, having absolute freedom of creation of each tool and component.
Each watch is made from manual assembly of each movement by a single watchmaker; with fully handcrafted refined finishes, even down to the last detail. The strength of the Manufacture lies in a capacity to create timepieces that are at once innovative and respectful of the Swiss watchmaking tradition reflected in all collections.
RESPECTING SWISS TRADITIONS
THE WATCHMAKING KNOW HOW
Blancpain’s philosophy is reflected in each of the models and collections, like the classic Villeret, the world’s first – Fifty Fathoms diving watch, the ladybird or Métiers d’Art. The skills required to create these watches are rare and demanding.
The watchmakers and artists possess the skill capable of building into these watches complications that are difficult to produce – perpetual calendars, tourbillons, carrousels, chronographs and minute-repeaters, among others – together with decorative adornments.
